An Apple A Day Keeps the Doctor Away...
But What About 100?

Here at the farm, we are preparing to place our 100-count EMLA 7 apple rootstock order soon, so that I can begin my heirloom apple orchard grafting project. I have been looking forward to this all winter! We are ordering the rootstock wholesale to save money, and using our own heirloom apple scion wood from our already established 12 apple trees. I will be growing my grafts out in gallon pots for the first year, and then planting them in the back pasture when they are large enough to survive on their own. The main apple orchard will consist of 32 heirloom trees, and I may plant a few more around the property. The remaining apple tree grafts will be for sale.
